Fifteenth day. Mizunoe uma. ¹ The weather was clear. There was a new year’s ceremony at the Kyōgoku mansion. I went to Her Majesty at Shijō with my wife [Minamoto no Shishi]. ² We studied Shingon with Monk Raikyū, and it was our first time hand-printing Buddhist figures.
